A Note from Author Devorah:  I didn’t choose the high fantasy genre of The Bewildering Adventures of King Bewilliam series; it chose me. Though Book One, The Lost King, is about present-day issues like divorce and career displacement, the story wanted to be told in a once-upon-a-time fashion. The series was inspired by a friend’s real life crisis, a complete personal and professional derailment. I wanted to see if I could make that come out happily ever after. That turned out to be harder than I thought. Even the strongest among us doesn’t bounce right back from such stunning losses. While he scored some successes, King Bewilliam continued to struggle to reclaim his life which led to The King’s Ransom and the latest release, The King’s Redress.

      You're welcome and Time is a fascinating subject. I wrote with Time as an element but I've edited and proofed it perhaps to death. I wrote it six years ago and I really think I should do something with it. I

    I certainly know what you mean by "The story chose you." When it comes to short stories, I know I want to write one, go to my expansive notes, and whatever stands out usually wins as long as the voices didn't already come up with something 😮
